چکیده

Background The advantage in predictive value of coronary artery bypass surgery (CABG), as the therapeutic treatment in patients with coronary artery disease with low left ventricle ejection fraction (EF) is well known. Influence of abnormal segmental wall motion on the reduction of EF is well known. However, it is not quite clear, what is the relation between abnormal segmental wall motion and quality of life (QOL) after CABG.

Comparison of the myocardial perfusion and wall motion results by ECG-Gated 99mTc-MIBI SPECT, before and after CABG for evaluation of myocardial viability [Persian]

It is of value to determine the amount of viable myocardial tissue in patients suffering from chronic coronary artery disease and ventricular dysfunction. Having the capability of evaluating both myocardial perfusion and function, simultaneously, myocardial scanning by ECG-Gated is an appropriate method for this purpose. The aim of this study was to compare the results of myocardial perfu...

Two-dimensional echocardiographic analysis of segmental left ventricular wall motion before and after coronary artery bypass surgery.

Twenty patients with coronary artery disease were studied with two-dimensional echocardiography the day before saphenous vein bypass graft surgery. Serial studies were obtained 7.4 +/- 2.5 (+/- SD) and 43.4 +/- 13.1 days postoperatively to qualitatively assess the effect of bypass surgery on regional wall motion. Changes in segmental wall motion were assessed semiquantitatively by assigning a s...

Although postoperative heart rehabilitation programs are performed in most centers, it does not seem to be sufficient to improve quality of life and require complementary programs. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga-bas...
